With few other clubs around, Merewether were able to move contests with ease. Leggy Point was used regularly, even Moonee Beach and even Catho. This classic photo was taken in November 1966 at Pogo’s. Everyone certainly seems to be having a good time. It might be said that contests back then were more about just having fun with your mates.
