Tickets are now available for the documentary, Col’s Story, which has been a labour of love for Terry Campbell and Filmmaker Nick Cupelli.
Col Smith was a legend of Newcastle and world surfing and tragically died way too young.
For those that knew Col this is a must see, for those that did not, this is a must see, what Col achieved in his relatively short life will blow your mind.

Huge congratulations @ryancallinan walking away with a 3rd place finish at the @wsl Hurley Pro Sunset Hawaii.
Ryan’s backhand attack was on fire all event in some big tricky conditions. (All those 3rd reef M-bay sessions are paying off.)
Finals day was incredible conditions and he went to town dropping 9s in his quarterfinals.
Ryan leave’s Hawaii in the top 10.

The call was to have a big year for our 60th year and the first comp provided that. 10-12 feet with solid close outs. Some amazing surfing went down with some serious paddling.
Corky Carrol took out the longest paddle ladies to cliff to mez then 3rd reef. He still took the win in the 50’s
@smurflanky followed but only went to dicko then paddled back to win Opens. @gusnicho @lochismith and @rhys_smithers did run around after run around but just couldn’t get a break after ripping all day.
@jyebyrnessurfboards and @benhainsworth killed it in the 40’s Jye got the win on the last wave.
@maxjenkins130 took out the 18’s getting out the back and getting a bomb as the heat started.
@davies.tobias got the win in B-grade
